Hyundai has added the new 2020 Hyundai Elantra, which promises better gas mileage along with other improvements. Here are some exciting highlights of the changes made to the latest generation of the beloved sedan.
Three active-safety features come standard with the new 2020 Hyundai Elantra. These include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Driver Attention Warning and Lane Keeping Assist. These systems are part of the ingenious Hyundai SmartSense safety technology suite.
The base 2020 Elantra trim, the SE, earns an estimated 35 mpg combined rating with its 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, while the other trims earn an estimated 34 mpg combined rating.* Each trim also achieves an impressive 147 horsepower.
The all new Intelligent Variable Transmission is now standard on the 2020 Elantra, save for the Eco and Sport trims. The transmission is a chain-belt-driven, continuously variable valve system that’s dually designed to improve fuel efficiency and provide a more thrilling drive experience. Instead of this system, Eco and Sport models will come with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Additional standard features of the 2020 Hyundai Elantra will include a dual automatic temperature control system and a 7-inch display with Apple CarPlay® or Android AutoTM compatibility.
We at Linwood Hyundai are proud to offer the 2020 Hyundai Elantra at our dealership. Take the sedan out for a test drive to see its great features in person.
