Announcing the Debut of the Hyundai Palisade SUV

Hyundai

At the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show held this past November, Hyundai showed off its new flagship SUV, called the Hyundai Palisade. The debut of the Hyundai Palisade shows that Hyundai is moving into new territory with its biggest and most impressive SUV yet.

The Palisade will come standard with three rows of spacious seating and will offer a variety of family-friendly technology like a 10-inch navigation display, seven USB outlets, wireless charging, roof-based diffuser vents, and power third-row seats.

Along with the spacious seating, the Palisade can be equipped to feel like a premium retreat away from home. Available materials like Nappa leather and woodgrain trim create a calm, comfortable ambience. The One-Touch second row seats will slide forward for easy access to the third row with just the press of a button.

To give families extra security, the Palisade will come standard with a variety of advanced safety features including Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, and Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go.

Mike O’Brien, vice president of Product, Corporate, and Digital Planning for Hyundai Motor America, said, “This new Hyundai SUV is the ultimate family vehicle for practical, comfortable daily use and memory-making road trips whenever the appeal of the open road should beckon.”

We can’t wait for the Palisade to arrive at Linwood Hyundai. If you want a big, capable family SUV from Hyundai, keep an eye out it later this year.

Anticipating the New Hyundai Palisade

Hyundai is getting close to unveiling its new full-size SUV, the Hyundai Palisade. Its creators developed this large family-hauler alongside the Kia Telluride, and while it’s still in its testing phase, there are some things we know for certain about this new SUV — especially as spy shots continue to reveal more information.

We know that this will be a three-row, eight-seat SUV offering generous space for cargo and comfort for passengers.

We’re now a little more familiar with the details of its exterior. Spy shots revealed a big, bold front grille as well as headlights and fog lights mounted low on the front fascia. That particular design scheme calls to mind the 2019 Sante Fe, which leads many to believe that the interior of the Hyundai Palisade may have a lot in common with the Sante Fe, too.

Many experts in the auto industry have a good idea of what the Hyundai Palisade will have under its hood. We’re expecting to see it receive power from Hyundai’s 3.3-liter V6 engine paired with the eight-speed automatic transmission. The Hyundai Palisade will likely be offered with all-wheel drive, an option that will make it capable in all weather conditions.

We at Linwood Hyundai are excited for the release of the Hyundai Palisade, so we will be able to offer another great option from Hyundai for families like yours. While you’re waiting for the release of the Palisade, check out Hyundai’s current lineup of SUVs at Linwood Hyundai.
